Mindfulness Based Meditation Practice Workshop
Sponsored by the James Farmer Multicultural Center and the office of Equity and Access
Workshops will be held via zoom at the following times:
- November 11, 4 – 5:30 pm
- November 18, 4 – 5:30 pm Zoom Link for November 18
Students will be provided a safe space to share thoughts through restorative dialogue and to explore mindfulness meditative practices to reduce stress and anxiety. The goal of this innovative workshop is to help students achieve a state of alert, focused relaxation, by deliberately paying attention to thoughts and sensations without judgment. This allows the mind to refocus on the present moment.
