The Center for Prevention and Education hosts a year-long schedule of events focused on developing skills, spreading awareness and enhancing educational opportunities around gender and sex-based violence, advocacy, wellness and bystander intervention along with a wide range of campus and community partners including the Office of Title IX, Empowerhouse, RCASA and more.

The Red Sand Project – January
A participatory art program dedicated to raising awareness about human trafficking. Held every January.

Sexual assault Awareness Month – April
Includes: Take Back the Night, the Clothesline Campaign, Denim Day and Start by Believing.
kNOw MORE Resource Fair – August
Held every August during Welcome Week and provides on and off-campus resources and a build your own sundae station!
Dating Violence Awareness Month – October
Includes events like the Healthy Relationship PhotoBooth, Break the Cycle spin class, Quick Tips and more.
