Both the Respondent and Complainant have the rights to a thorough, fair, prompt, and impartial process to resolve complaints of Prohibited Conduct. UMW uses the term “Respondent” to refer to the student, employee, or third party who have been reported to have violated the Policy on Sexual and Gender-Based Harassment and Other Forms of Interpersonal Violence.
