The University of Mary Washington is committed to preventing and improving our response to matters of sexual and interpersonal violence, and to do this we utilize student participation to enhance our response and prevention efforts. All students who are 18 and over are asked to participate in UMW’s Student Climate Survey on Sexual Violence Safety Perceptions, Knowledge, Attitudes, and Prevalence. The University utilized a modified version of the Administrator-Researcher Campus Climate Collaborative (ARC3) survey.
We are dedicated to taking a stand against all forms of interpersonal violence as well as providing support, resources, education, and preventative awareness to our campus community. We understand that sexual and gender-based violence can greatly impede an individual’s opportunities for academic and personal success; as such, we are committed to reducing risk and enhancing resources on campus.
